- DESCRIPTION: This acquisition includes the purchase of a code and part number item where Pewag (4N506) & Peerless Chain Company (36RM6) have supplied the item in the past. Atli Zincir Igne Ve Mak.san.a.s (T0046) is a Turkish manufactuer who has manufactured this material in the past. The intent is to award an indefinite quantity type contract for a one year base and four option years. Solicitation and NSN will be available for download on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. on its issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. ( X ) The solicitation will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. On or about its issue date of 07/15/2010. ( X ) Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. ( X ) The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. ( X ) This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
