- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, intends to solicit offers for the purchase of the estimated quantities of one First Article Test Procedures; one First Article Test Davit (Shipboard); one lot of Drawing Package; one lot of Engineering Calculations; one lot of Reliability Documentation; one lot of Preliminaty and Final Design Review Meeting & Minutes; one lot of Software Based System Requirements; one lot of Installation Control Drawings and Procedures; one lot of EMI Test Plan; one lot of Provisioning Parts Lists (PPL) and Supplemental Provisioning Technical Documentation (SPTD); one lot of Technical Manual (Electronic Version); one lot of Shipboard Crew Training Document; 29 Slewing Arm Davits (Production Units); 30 Interim Spare Parts and Engineering and Technical Support. The government is intends to award a Requirements Contract with the initial Production Order for 5 Slewing Arm Davits and 6 Interim Spare Parts and Engineering and Technical Support. The contract will provide up to 24 additional Slewing Arm Davits and 25 additional Interim Spare Parts and Engineering and Technical Support placed on delivery orders as needed over a five year period. Award will be based on Best Value with consideration of the following technical evaluation factors in descending order: (1) Design, Interface and Performance Characteristics; (2) Corporate Experience; (3) Past Performance and (4) Past Subcontracting Compliance. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS classification for this acquisition is 336611.
