Description
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requests information (RFI) from industry to determine if vendors have a service or capabilities available in the commercial marketplace to provide FCC with software development, maintenance, and integration services necessary to maintain and enhance the operational effectiveness and baseline capabilities of the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau's High Frequency Directional Finding (HFDF) system. Knowledge of geographical user interface (GUI), and how that integrates with and Advanced Signal Analysis Search Techniques (e.g. Time Differential of Arrival (TDOA)) is required. Sources that can provide such services are requested to submit no more than 10 (ten) pages of capabilities that provides the following information: (1) Company Name with address and point of contact; (2) Company size using the business classification (e.g. HUB Zone, small, small disadvantage, large) (3) Information regarding your capabilities to include your ability to develop and maintain software for the HFDF system; and (4) Any other capabilities that may be of interest by the FCC within the scope of this request. This RFI does not represent a contract, a promise to contract or a commitment of any kind on the part of the FCC. The Government does not intend to award a contract solely on the basis of the RFI, nor will the Government pay for the information received in response to this RFI. Submitted documents will NOT be returned. The objective of this RFI is to obtain market research in order to assist acquisition planning. All proprietary and restricted information shall be clearly marked. Written responses shall be e-mailed no later than the posted response date to the attention of Ms. Bridget Gauer at bridget.gauer@FCC.gov with the following email subject reference: HFDF Services.
