- JOFOC The U.S. Department of the Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) anticipates awarding a non-competitive sole source firm fixed price contract for the purchase of upgrades with installation to Banknote Processing System 3000 (BPS 3000) Currency Testing Systems to GDAI. GDAI is the only vendor that can provide this upgrade. Interested organizations should submit a complete package by the due date, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement and which describes their capabilities related to the requirement. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing, via e-mail, to Mr. Garnel Palin, Contract Specialist, Phone (202) 874-2451, Garnel.palin@bep.gov, by 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on June 16, 2010. The Government will not pay for information solicited. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit their qualifications by the due date which may be considered by the agency. Submissions for review to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing shall not impede award of this contract. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable NAICs code is 811310 and size standard is $6.50M. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) can be accessed on the Internet at http://www.arnet.gov/far.
