- RECOVERY- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AS REQUIRED BY FAR SUBPART5.7 PUBLICIZING REQUIREMENT UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009.THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS WHO HOLD GSA 70 SCHEDULE CONTRACTS SIN132-51 FOR THIS TYPE OF SERVICE.RECOVERY - NASA ARC intends to issue s a firm fixed price Request for Quote (RFQ) to GSASchedule 70 SIN #132-51 contract holders for a task titled: Traffic Flow Management HITLsimulation development, Credit-based User Preference System for Collaborative TrafficFlow Management (TFM) This deliver order seeks to implement and test a Credits-basedCollaborative TFM concept (or the Concept) in a HITL simulation platform. The researchgoal is to determine if the concept enhances collaboration between the FAA and the usersof the National Airspace System (NAS) and ultimately provides benefits to the NAS users.The experiments will aid in identification of the roles and procedures that enable theNAS users and FAA personnel to collaboratively design efficient and equitable TFMschedules and plans.This task will be funded by the Recovery Act and will be made on a competitive basis.Information about major upcoming ARC procurement actions is available athttp://ec.msfc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eis/admin/admin.cgi?center3DARC Any referenced notes may be viewed at the following URLs linked below.
