- EXCEPT AS MODIFIED OR AMPLIFIED IN RFP, THIS ITEM CONTAINS CLASS "C" EXPLOSIVES. DFAR CLAUSE 252.223-7002, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR AMMUNITION AND EXPLOSIVES (MAY 1994) APPLIES. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS EXPLOSIVE NAVAL ORDNANCE ITEMS, WHICH REQUIRE SPECIAL SECURITY, SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION CLAUSES. THE CLAUSES MAY BE FOUND IN SECTION "I". CODE 0242.05NOTE: PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE NAVY. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SOLE SOURCE. THIS ITEM IS PROPRIETARY TO UNIVERSAL PROPULSION CALIFORNIA OPERATIONS. THE GOVERNMENT TDP IS NOT COMPLETE AND IS ONLY THE TOP DRAWING. THIS ITEM IS AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE. QUANTITY - 2,190 EACH, ITEM DESCRIPTION: VARIOUS TLX TRANSFER LINE ASSEMBLIES, USED ON F-18 AND T-45 AIRCRAFT FOR CANOPY SEVERANCE. A SAFETY SURVEY WILL BE REQUIRED. EXPLOSIVE WEIGHT - Varies by line.006 to.0003 LBSEXPLOSIVE CLASS - 1.4, RODUCTION LOT TESTING, CONTRACT DATA REQUIREMENT LIST AND FOB ORIGIN APPLY. A LIMITED DRAWING PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON THE WEB. A DIGITAL CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR VIEWING WEB BASED DRAWINGS.
