Description
Martinsburg VA Medical Center VAMC VA RFP Solicitation for Offerors (SFO) No VA-101-10-RP-0042 has issued Amendment NO 01 as follows: 1.An extension to the Proposal due date has amended the Solicitation so that Proposals must be received by September 23, 2010 by 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time ( the Closing Time ). 2.An extension to the date that RFP respondents can submit Questions regarding this RFP in writing has been changed to not later than September 15, 2010 by emailing eulMartinsburg@va.gov. Additional information regarding this Amendment, and the Mission Homeless opportunity, including the RFP are available on the project website: http://www4.va.gov/ASSETMANAGEMENT/MissionHomeless/Martinsburg/index.asp This procurement is an Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) opportunity at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, West Virginia. This project consists of approximately 3.3 acres of unimproved land in Martinsburg, West Virginia. VA s objective for this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to receive proposals from Offerors/Lessees offering to redevelop the available approximately 3.3 acres at the EUL Site under a long-term ground lease agreement with VA for up to seventy-five (75) years. In return for a long-term lease of the property, the Offeror will provide fair consideration to VA. VA s primary objective in leasing the property is for a selected developer to establish and, thereby, increase the number of permanent/transitional housing units with on-site supportive services available to homeless Veterans, including those at imminent risk of homelessness, and eligible non-Veterans. Additional information regarding this opportunity, including the RFP will be available on the project website: http://www4.va.gov/ASSETMANAGEMENT/MissionHomeless/Martinsburg/index.asp
