- Solicitation No. N1574100046Amendment 0002 AttachmentJune 10, 2010 Project Title: Recycling Services, Yellowstone National Park. Receipt of Offers: The hour and date for receipt of offers is changed to 2:00 pm local time on June 15, 2010. Offers must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the hour and date specified in the solicitation or as amended by one of the following methods:a)Signing and dating this amendment and returning with offer;b)By acknowledging receipt of this amendment on each copy of the offer submitted; orc)By separate letter or telegram which includes a reference to the solicitation and amendment numbers.FAILURE OF YOUR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO BE RECEIVED AT THE PLACE DESIGNATED FOR THE RECEIPT OFFERS PRIOR TO THE HOUR AND DATE SPECIFIED MAY RESULT IN REJECTION OF YOUR OFFER.If by virtue of the amendment you desire to change an offer already submitted, such change may be made by telegram or letter, provided each telegram or letter makes reference to the solicitation and this amendment, and is received prior to the opening hour and date specified. Description of Changes: This amendment provides the following changes to the combined synopsis / solicitation. "In order to clarify the exact locations of the collection bins, commodities collected and times of year requiring service, the following line items and descriptions have been reconfigured to reflect what Yellowstone National Park is requiring. This information aligns with the attached maps for each area (the bin collection location is identified with a star that is circled, and this information must be requested in writing from the Contracting Officer). Unless otherwise noted, "all commodities" include paper (all types and colors), OCC cardboard and gray board, #1 through #7 plastics, all types of glass and mixed aluminum and steel.Note: Currently, Yellowstone National Park only has annual totals for cardboard and individual site quantities are not known. The cardboard collection total for 2009 was approximately 42.5 tons. The National Park Service will make available bear-proof cardboard collection bins for all areas where cardboard is collected. These are front end emptying bins." Please replace line items 1 through 15 of the original combined synopsis/solicitation with the following line items 1 through 70. The above referenced line items are too large to include in this amendment, so please request a copy from the Contracting Officer.
