Description

This modification changes response due date to June 15, 2010. This project consists of remodel and re-roof of an existing engine garage located at the Big Bar Ranger Station, Shasta Trinity National Forest, Trinity County, California. The work shall include but not be limited to the roof lead paint abatement, demolition of the entire existing roof structure, reframing walls, modifying portions of the concrete foundation, installing roof trusses, sheathing the roof, installing the metal roof, disposing of the excess/removed material and all other work necessary for a complete and fully functional engine garage as specified in the contract and project drawings. All excess material from the demolition of the roof, the wall to be reframed and any foundation work becomes the property of the contractor and shall be removed from site and disposed of in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. NAICS CODE: 238160. SET-ASIDE: Unrestricted (Demo Project). ESTIMATED START WORK DATE: July 01, 2010. PRE-BID TOUR: To be announced at time of solicitation issuance. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. PAYMENT PROTECTION IS REQUIRED OF THE AWARDED CONTRACTOR AT TIME OF AWARD. The solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or before April 12, 2010 with a due date of May 13, 2010, close of business. Prospective contractors are requested to self-register at this site to receive email notification of any postings concerning this project, such as amendments.
