- Locations of machines This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference-Number for this solicitation is Q0QT01PSC01 and it is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-39. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423430. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking quotes for Maintenancel support for 41 Zebra 520i printers. Multiple locations- see Attachment B. ACQUISITION IS SET ASIDE FOR QUOTES FROM ONLY AUTHORIZED IDENTICARD DEALERS. Printers work in conjunction with custom designed Identicard software unique to IRS application. Quotes from other sources will not be considered. Maintenance service is to include the following: 1.Toll-Free telephone technical assistance on printer and printer drive problem Monday through Friday, normal business hours 2. Loaner Printer during repair at no additional cost 3. Parts and Labor on Printer Repair included in maintenance price PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF QUOTES: To submit a valid quote to be considered for this award/order, please submit the following completed Information: (1) Completed Price Quotation Sheet - Attachment A QUOTE EVALUATION The IRS intends to award this Contract to the responsive and responsible contractor that offers the best value to the government PROVISIONS/CLAUSES The following Provisions and Clauses are applicable to this acquisition: -The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
