Description
Military Sealift Command Headquarters located at the Washington Navy Yard, DC requires support for the operation of its Mailroom. The following tasks, all-inclusive in neither scope nor description, are illustrative of the services to be performed under this Contract: A. The Contractor shall perform all services necessary to operate the mailroom and perform related services. The Mailroom shall be staffed and open for business from 7:30AM until 4:30 PM. B. The Contractor shall receive incoming mail three times daily at approximately 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM. This will average about 1,000 to 2,000 pieces of mail per day. The Contractor shall sort, deliver, and pick up mail, including Express mail, inter- and intra-command mail, and external mail, to include FedEx, UPS and similar delivery services as well as classified mail, to MSCHQ directorates and codes once daily to 25+ mail stops. The Contractor shall also pick up outgoing mail at the time deliveries are made. C. The Contractor shall open invoices, date stamp and deliver them to Military Sealift Command Funds Certification Division (N8). The Contractor shall also pickup outgoing invoices and deliver them to designated codes or to Military Sealift Command Accounting and Reports Branch (N8). D. The Contractor shall provide and maintain one vehicle to make deliveries/pickups twice daily to offices within the Metropolitan Washington Area. Historically, off-site deliveries/pickups total approximately 250 miles per week. E. The Contractor must be able to obtain a Secret Facilities Clearance. F. The following Key Personnel are anticipated for this Contract: Program Manager: Education: BS or BA, or equivalent Managerial Experience: 4 years Technical Experience: 3 years -Or- Education: HS Diploma or GED Managerial Experience: 7 years Technical Experience: 7 years Workplace Administrator: Management and Supervisory Experience: 3 years Technical Experience: 7 years Must be employed full-time at work site. Directives Support: Skilled and Experience in Navy Directives and Navy Correspondence: 2 years Must be employed full-time at work site.
