Description

Sole source justification AIR FORCE BAND OF FLIGHT ORIGINAL MUSIC COMPOSITION. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The solicitation number is FA8601-10-T-0222. The NAICS Code is 711510. The size standard is $7M. The proposed source is Mr. Rick DeJonge. This purchase is for an orchestrated musical piece for 45 musicians to be no longer than 60 minutes. The musical piece will be written to be precisely timed to narration, video, fly-bys, and fireworks. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
