- This is a notice of intent to place an order with Broadcast Electronics INC, on a sole source basis for services being procured for the provision of onsite system upgrades, maintenance support and training on the Broadcast Electronics (BE) Audio Vault automation systems, to support AFN- South. This requirement is to conduct a full technical evaluation of each Audio Vault system at AFN South, Livorno, Naples, and Vicenza, so as to assist engineering personnel with the installation of upgrades, make necessary repairs to enhance operations and conduct hands on training with dedicated maintenance personnel. No award will be made solely on the basis of this notice since a synopsis of intent to place an order cannot be considered a request for quotes. No quote documents exist and no telephone inquires will be accepted. Written responses, if applicable, prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement, must be received by this office within 2 calendar days after this notice. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available, an order will be placed with the above named vendor. A quote will not be considered an affirmative response.
