- RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SYNPOSIS. The government anticipates awarding a Five Year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract consisting of a firm-fixed price (level of effort). The Critical Safety Item Airworthiness Verification Program is a destructive test program designed to verify the airworthiness of parts critical to the safe operation of Army aircraft prior to their introduction into the field. This requirement will result in a 100% competitive small business set aside. By U.S. Law, participation in Small Business Set-Asides is restricted to U.S. small businesses. Foreign participation is not authorized for this effort, US CITIZENS ONLY. Responses to this Notice are due no later than 1600 (CST) on 19 June 2010.
