- Please note that this is NOT a request for SF330's or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center (RLR VAMC), Indianapolis, IN, is conducting a market survey for qualified emerging small businesses capable of providing the required A/E services outlined below for the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Applicable NAICS code is 541330 size standard $4.5 million. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than June 9, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Description of work to be performed includes: The Architect/Engineer A/E firm shall provide all tools, equipment, material, labor and supervision necessary to accomplish, prepare, and furnish design drawings, specifications, construction documents, and detailed cost estimates for: Structural Evaluation of the Parking Garage of the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center including: Review construction As-Builts of the existing structure and compare design methods used with current seismic standards. Perform a visual inspection of all elements of parking garage structure (including but not limited to pavement surface, columns, beams and decking) for any current structural deficiencies as well as any areas that are likely to present problems within the life of the garage. Perform any other means of non-destructive testing necessary to obtain an accurate understanding of the current structural capacities of the garage. Prepare a detailed narrative report outlining any necessary remediation of structural elements of the garage including estimated costs of all work. Prepare a separate narrative report detailing any recommended maintenance procedures that are currently not being performed to extend the life and functionality of the garage. The design completion period is 60 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than June 9, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this sources sought announcement.
