The Draft Solicitation includes the documentation describing the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Global Information Grid (GIG) Services Management - Engineering/Transition/Implementation (GSM-ETI) requirement. The requirement for this GSM-ETI effort is to obtain performance based services to provide the support necessary to carry out required engineering, transition/implementation, integration, connection approval and IT service management activities, in support of existing DISN networking capabilities. (Please refer to the attached Statement of Objectives). Industry is encouraged to review the documentation and provide comments. DISA will also host a Pre-Solicitation Conference to discuss the GSM Acquisition of Services (AoS) on 28 June 2010 at the DISA facility in Falls Church, VA. During the Pre-Solicitation Conference, DISA intends to discuss the scope of the GSM to include the GSM - Operations (GSM-O) requirement and the GSM-Projects and Support (GSM - P&S). Pre-registration information for both events is detailed in the Executive Summary of this Draft RFP.
