- Description
- (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is FM448601327400; this solicitation is a Request for Quotation. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-41. (iv) This acquisition will be full and open competition; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423450. The business size standard in number of employees 500. (v) CLIN 0001: PORTACOUNT PRO+RESPIRATOR FIT TESTER 3 KIT (vi) Portacount Pro+ Repirator Fit Tester with built-in N95 Companion Technology can fit test all types of respirators - gas masks, SCBA's, air purifying respirators, even N95 disposable filtering facepieces. Must be OSHA-accepted fit test method. Includes: PORTACOUNT Pro fit tester, AC adapter, alcohol cartridge, alcohol fill capsule, storage cap, two zero check filters, operation and service manual, Model 8016 alcohol supplies, 3/16 and ¼ inch hose adapters, two spare alcohol wicks, carring case, FitPro Fit Test software CD, USB cable and 2-Year Warranty. (OR EQUAL) (vii) Shipping is to Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. (viii) Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. Offeror must provide specifications if quoting "or equal". (ix) FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
