- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(c), intends to orally solicit a requirement for 1,000 tons of type 4, 2, crusher run limestone and 1,000 tons of type 4, 1, crusher run limestone to be delivered to Bldg T-91 on Fort Drum and for 2,000 tons of type 4, 2, crusher run limestone and 2,000 tons of type 4, 1, crusher run limestone to be delivered to Fort Drum, NY stone pit on Military Highway (Military Grid Coordinates: 539799); the anticipated delivery date is 10 June 2010. If further delivery clarification is needed please contact the contract specialist. The requirement will be procured using the procedures in FAR parts 12 and 13. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. As prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004, interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) under the NAICS 212312. This can be done by accessing the Internet at (www.ccr.gov) or calling 1-888-227-2423. Representations and certifications must also be on record through ORCA at www.orca.bpn.gov.
