- This is a pre-solicitation announcement to notify the market of an upcoming project to refurbish the ASR tower located in Lihue, Hawaii. Below is a brief description of the project elements: Provide all labor, material, and equipment to: 1.Remove all existing rust according to manufacturer's specifications for surface preparation for the coating system applied.2.Apply two (2) coats of a penetrating epoxy primer/sealer.3.Apply two (2) coats of a high solid epoxy coating.4.Apply one (1) coat of a high solid, high gloss epoxy, or polyurethane or epoxy/polyurethane blend UV top coat. The Request for Offers package including all applicable specifications and drawings will be posted to this website on or around June 9th, 2010. NAICS: 238990 Magnitude of construction: Between $100,000 and $250,000 Site Visit: A site visit will be held on Monday, June 14th, at 10am. This project is set-aside for competition exclusively amongst Small Businesses.
