Description of Action: Requirement: New Pricing: Firm-Fixed Price Funds: FY2010 40123 1907 4045Name of Contract: Encore SF South, LLC Street Address: 12000Cypress Way City, State, Zip: Spanish Court, Alabama 36527-9428 Phone: 214-259-7016 3. Description of Services: The estimated value of the proposed action is $83,754.00. To provide 15 Hotel rooms for 60 nights beginning 5/16/10. Due to the high degree of activity in the area for oil soill response, hotel rooms are at premium. This was the only source that could meet our requirement 4. Authority Cited: (Identify the statutory authority, FAR title and FAR citation permitting other than full and open competition. It may be one of the following.) (a) 10 USC 2304(c)(1) or 41 USC 253(c)(2); FAR 6.302-2: Unusual and Compelling Urgency 5. Reason for Authority Cited: (State why this is the only source that can provide the required supplies or services.) (b) Services/Supplies are needed immediately to satisfy mission requirements and unacceptable delays will result when an award is made to any other source.
