Coast Guard, Facilities Design and Construction will award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract Task Order against an existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for the design and construction of a new Boat Maintenance Facility and an option item for the construction of a new boat ramp at U. S. Coast Guard Station Eaton's Neck located in Northport, New York 1. Project Description: Rebuild Station Eaton's Neck Boat House at U.S. Coast Guard Station Eaton's Neck, New York. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the design and construction of an approximately 9000 Gross Square Foot (GSF) boat maintenance facility. The ground level shall include a boat bay capable of housing 2-25' long RBS boats on trailers, overhead bridge crane and associated maintenance shops. A second level shall house an administrative office and locker-room facilities. Associated site work includes grading and access road construction, routing of electrical, telecommunication, compressed air and equipment, and an option item to construct a boat ramp, including partial demolition of the existing decking, piles, subsurface pile bracing, and bulkhead and stabilization of any remaining decking. Do the work according to the specifications and as shown on the Government-approved, contractor-originated drawings.
