- Description
- Military Sealift Fleet Support Command has a requirement for a Hardie-Tynes authorized service representative to perform the following work on the USS FRANK CABLE: 1. Open and inspect No.1A, No.1B, No.2A, and No.2B forced draft blowers. 2. Check Thrust Bearing end play and axial position of rotor. 3. Measure bearing and oil seal radial clearances. 4. Inspect governor drive gears. 5. Open and inspect turbines. 6. Replace labyrinth packing sets. 7. Submit an as-found condition report to the MSFSC Port Engineer with recommended repairs. 8. Upon approval of all authorized work, reassemble equipment and conduct operational test (if steam is available). Period of Performance: 28 June - 30 July 2010 Ship Location: Guam Shipyard, Guam Anticipated Solicitation Issue Date: 14 June 2010
