- This will be a COMPETITIVE 8(a) CONSTRUCTION procurement. Disregard header regarding FAR Part 12. Only Louisiana 8(a) firms serviced by the Louisiana SBA District office or only those 8(a) participants with bona fide places of business within the established geographic boundary are eligible to submit proposals. If there is a question concerning firm eligibility or bona fide place of business rule, contact SBA LA District Officer 504-589-6885. This amendment has been issued for the following: (a) CLIN 0002 has been renumbered to CLIN 0001 and CLIN 0119 has been deleted; (b) Section 00010 Bidding Schedule has been revised as attached hereto; (c) Additional instructions and bid opening information have been included in Section 00100; (d) Clauses and Provisions in Section 00100, 00600, and 00700 are added, deleted, revised, or provide previously referenced clauses and provisions in full text hereto; (e) The Davis Bacon wage determination table has been revised to General Decision Number: LA100008 LA8 dated May 21, 2010 in Section 00800; (f) Requests For Information #1 through #8 are addressed in Section 00800; (g) Replace all references to Solicitation No. W912P8-10-R-0035 with Solicitation No. W912P8-10-B-0056 in the plans and specifications. (h) Any and all places in the plans and specifications that use the terms CIF or compatible injectable fill shall be replaced with the terms cig or compatible injectable grout; and (i) Specification Section 04 90 03.65 Masonry Anchorage and Enhancement Systems has been replaced in its entirety with the Specification Section attached hereto.
