- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-10-Q-0507 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41, Defense Circular Number 20100519, Air Force Acquisition Circular 2010-0402. This procurement is being issued as full and open competition under NAICS code 333999. 0001 - 1 EA Kidde 0-100 Portable Hose Liner or equal; should burn LPG Propane; should utilize a "deadman button" to stop fire; should encompass a 24-square-foot burn area w/ fire output of 65,000,000 btu/hr 0002 - 1 EA Kidde 0-100 Portable Helicopter prop or equal; should be able to run scenarios in engine fire, passenger/cargo area fire, and cockpit fire and be easily moveable 0003 - 1 EA on-site commissioning and training Shipping will be FOB Destination to F1PT6B - 612 SPTS, DMAFB, Tucson, AZ. The provision at 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, applies to this acquisition. Quotes will be evaluated on price and technical acceptance.
