- FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT Michael Cerreto, EMAIL Michael.Cerreto@us.army.mil OR John Padre, EMAIL John.Padre@us.army.mil The US ARMY CECOM LCMC intends to acquire the following: 6 each FIDO Handheld Explosives Detection System with Starter Kit in Arabic, consisting of the following: tether cable, carry bag, Arabic operators manual, handheld explosives detection software and manual, extra batteries (2), 5 boxes of sampling swipes with a QTY of 50 in each box, multitool, sensor head, sensor body, reference standard, cleaning Vial, 5 boxes of sensing elements with a QTY of 10 in each box, maintenance kit (O-rings, cotton swabs, etc.), FIDO power supply, earbuds, battery charger, spare tip vial, associated cables, and power supply for battery charger. The handheld explosives detector must come with a 12 month warranty from contractor. 12 months supply of Support Sensing Elements (box of 10) in support of the Handheld Explosives Detection System. 12 months supply of Support Swipes (box of 50) in support of the Handheld Explosives Detection System. Contractor In-Country furnished training for the FIDO Handheld Explosives Detection System. Training will be for a total of 40 students10 students per class. The training course will last up to six days. The training course will commence approximately thirty days after delivery of the units. Contractor will provide Iraq versions of training manuals and other applicable documentation. Contractor will provide Certified Trainer(s). Government will provide CACs to contractor upon request. All students will be screened for explosives contamination prior to accessing classroom facilities at the start of each day of the course and on an as needed basis as deemed necessary by contractor.
