- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with King Nutronics of Woodland Hills, CA 91367 for three (3) 3665-1-1 Tire Inflator Test sets, two (2) 3605A-1-101 Sub Ambient Thermo Units, and six (6) 3688-30-1 Regulator Kit Assemblies to support the NAVAIR Metrology and Calibration Program. The Tire Inflator Sets and Sub Ambient units shall include operator and maintenance manuals, calibration sticker, a warranty sticker affixed with start and end dates, and a certificate of conformance. All units are to be serialized by the original equipment manufacturer. All items must be new; no refurbished items will be accepted. Standard original equipment manufacturer warranty is required. These calibration standards are used to support tire inflator test sets, hand held tire pressure gages, various size thermometers and ruggedized temp probes, and calibration of air data test sets. The Government does not own the rights to current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
