- I. OVERVIEW: This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE only. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. II. REQUIREMENT: The BEP requires a Contractor to provide maintenance services and emergency service in support of its central G.E. 15kV distribution switchgear and other central G.E. and Cutler Hammer distribution switchgear (hereinafter "Equipment") located at the BEP's Washington DC facility in order to keep the Equipment fully operational 24x7 throughout contract performance. 2.1 Central G.E 15kV distribution switchgear currently includes four (4) 13,800 volt PEPCO supplied incoming feeder main switches, four (4) feeder tie switches, thirty one (31) distribution switches/breakers, all relays associated with the switches and breakers, and related items. 2.2 G.E. and Cutler Hammer distribution switchgear currently includes twelve (12) 480V distribution substations, nine (9) 120/208V network distribution protector switches, and five (5) 120/208V distribution substations, distribution switches, all relays, and other related items. Interested parties who have the capability to the above areas are welcomed to respond. The expectation is for the contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, management, training, testing, supervision and all other items and services necessary to perform such services in order to ensure the equipment remains operational at all times. III. INSTRUCTIONS: Interested parties shall submit with their response the following information; 1. Service/Capability literature. 2. Point of Contact information. 3. Other pertinent information to support their capability. IV. RESPONSE DATE: Responses to this Notice shall be submitted no later than 12:00 P.M. EST June 18, 2010. V.
