- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepare in accordance with the format in (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation W90BT400520034 ERDAS Software Maintenanceis issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation posted as a request for proposal (RFP). (iii) This RFP is issued with no applicable set aside. (iv) The Government has a requirement for the following expected Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): 0001 Annual Software Maintenance Renewal Bundle for ERDAS IMAGINE Suite (21 April 2010 20 April 2011), 1EA; 0002 Annual Software Maintenance Renewal Bundle for ERDAS IMAGINE Suite (21 April 2011 20 April 2012), 1EA; 0003 Annual Software Maintenance Renewal Bundle for ERDAS IMAGINE Suite (21 April 2012 20 April 2013), 1EA; 0004 Annual Software Maintenance Renewal Bundle for ERDAS IMAGINE Suite (21 April 2013 20 April 2014), 1EA; 0005 Annual Software Maintenance Renewal Bundle for ERDAS IMAGINE Suite (21 April 2014 20 April 2015), 1EA. (vi) Desired period of performance is 21 April 2010 20 April 2011 (to be adjusted based contract on award date) for base year and an additional four option years for a total of five years (#1: 21 April 2011 20 April 2012; #2: 21 April 2012 20 April 2013; #3: 21 April 2013 20 April 2014; #4: 21 April 2014 20 April 2015). Period of performance for previous contract was 21 April 2009 20 April 2010. Address of source requirement is: Kilbourne Kasserne, Building 4308, Friedrichsfelder Landstrasse, 68723, Schwetzingen, Germany. (xii) Additional contract requirements: Offeror must be an authorized ERDAS software technical service providor and must submit proof of certification with quote. (xv) Quotes shall be transmitted electronically to michelle.tomcik@EUR.army.mil no later than 0600 (6 a.m.) Central European Standared Time (CEST), 7 June 2010. No other method of delivery shall be acceptable; no late submissions shall be accepted. (xvi) All questions and comments shall be transmitted no later than 0600 (6 a.m.) CEST, 4 June 2010 and shall be directed to Michelle H. Tomcik, Contract Specialist, IT Branch, Division A, Wiesbaden Contracting Center (WCC) at michelle.tomcik@EUR.army.mil (NOTE: messages sent to US.army.mil may not be received and as such shall be considered failure to meet solicitation submittal requirements).
