- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, Request for Quotation (RFQ) W58RGZ-10-Q-0100, is issued as a RFQ. This is a request for a Firm-Fixed Price quote for a Transportation Deployment Tool Kit for the country of Egypt. A list of tools with description and quantity is attached. Please note that the attachment can be accessed from page 13 of the attached RFQ; click on the blue Electronic Image. Part/item numbers are indentified in the attached description; however, equivalent part/item numbers are acceptable if they correspond to the included description and offer the capability of meeting the agency need. The tools are to be placed in the tool box and shipped all at once. Ship to address: 83C066A, Bldg 5308, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. Delivery is required by July 31, 2010. Inspection: Origin Acceptance: Origin FOB: Destination The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a purchase order without communications with offerors. Therefore, the offerors initial offer should contain its best cost. However, the Government reserves the right to make clarifications or request revised responses if later determined by the Contacting Officer to be necessary. The Government may reject any or all offers if such action is in the public interest. Proposal evaluation will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 16. After responses have been received, additional oral or written information may be requested from one or more Offerors, but not necessarily from all Offerors. Price is the only evaluation factor for award. The awardee will be selected based on the lowest offered price for the part/item numbers (or equivalent part/item numbers) as mentioned in the attachment. In order to be considered for award, contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration and have complete representations and certifications in the Online Representations and Certifications Application. All invoices must be submitted through Wide Area Workflow. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds.
