- AGENCY: Department of Veterans Affairs OFFICE ADDRESS: VISN 15 Contracting Office, 4101 S. 4th street, Leavenworth, Kansas 66048 SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: VA255-P-10-RQ-0393 CLASSIFICATION CODE: J -Equipment Maintenance Etc. NAICS CODE: 238220 This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on part of the Department of Veterans Affairs The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to identify technically qualified businesses that can provide annual Service/Maintenance and preventive maintenance inspections for two Carrier 30GXN Air Cooled Chillers (Model: 30GXN301F-640FX). Services provided shall meet manufactures' performance and technical specifications. All parts utilized in providing services shall be new or factory rebuilt. Contractor providing services shall be a certified manufacturer service provider and technicians performing the service must be current in equipment certification training. Contractor providing services shall be capable of providing a 24/7-30 minute telephone response and 24/7-2 hours on site response when service calls are requested. Site location for this requirement is Kansas City VAMC, 4801 Linwood Boulevard, Kansas City, Missouri 64128. Responses to this notice should include the following: Name of company/provider, business size (large or small); identify if the company/provider falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories- Service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses; Veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; women-owned small businesses; HUBZone small businesses; or Small disadvantaged businesses; and the company/provider's size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. Please include information on Carrier Chiller service and maintenance previously performed at any VA medical Centers and/or other government entities, to include contract numbers, dates of performance and points of contact. Include any other pertinent information which demonstrates the company/provider's ability to meet the above requirement. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations; no formal solicitation documentation exists at this time. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. Confidentiality: No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s)."
