SPECIFICATIONS SPECIFICATIONS FOR PPI 906 ARMY STRONG Mini Stress Football DESCRIPTION: Stress ball will be football shaped measuring 3.5 in. w x 2.25 in. h x 2.25 in. d, made of polyurethane material, similar to epromos.com style number SKU: 8812732. The football color will be brown with 3 color (Black, White, and Army Yellow) Army star logo and ARMY STRONG. below logo (see image below). Separating the Army Strong logo and the text will be white simulated threads. Logo on football basket ball will be at least in. high not including the ARMY STRONG. tag line. Tag line size and spacing will be in accordance with the Army style guide (see image below and style guide) Font for goarmy.com and ARMY STRONG. will be Interstate Bold, all capital letters. On the opposite side of the Army star logo will be the following text centered on the ball printed in black lettering: ARMY STRONG. 1-800-USA-ARMY goarmy.com COLORS USED: Black and Yellow (PMS 122C or 123C), which ever is truest to the Army yellow color when imprinted and white for the football threads. FONTS USED: For all text that is not part of the Army logo, the font will be Interstate Bold. TRADEMARK USAGE: Each time the Army logo is used, the registered trademark symbol will appear with it, to the right of the logo, placed between the star box and the U.S. Army box. (See image below and Army style guide.) When the tagline ARMY STRONG. is used alone, the registered trademark symbol will appear in superscript above the period. URL: All URL text will be in lowercase. PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLES: Two pre-production samples are required within 20 calendar days after the contract award and will be sent to: USAAC Procurement Division ATTN: Diane Myers Bldg 203, 232 Old Ironsides Ave Fort Knox, KY 40121 (502) 626-0279 The contractor shall include an approval/disapproval form with the pre-production samples. The government will approve/disapprove the samples and provide a copy of the completed form to the contractor via email or facsimile machine. For any disapproved sample, the contractor shall 10 calendar days to resubmit. DELIVERY SCHEDULE: 25,000 on 18 AUG 10 25,000 on 15 SEP 10 30,000 on 10 OCT 10 PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS: Contractor to package 25 Mini Stress footballs per box, sealed on all sides. Four of these boxes are to be packed in a master box PSI 275 for a total count of 100 footballs per master box. Box shall be sealed on all sides. Each box must be of sufficient strength and last up to 1 year of storage without discoloring. Master shipping boxes are not to exceed 45 lbs. MARKING INSTRUCTIONS: Contractor to mark each master shipping box on the outside (NOT ON THE TOP) with PPI NUMBER, PPI NAME and total quantity (see example below) PPI 906, ARMY STRONG Mini Stress Football, 4 Boxes of 25, Total: 100 Note: If items come in without the proper markings on the boxes as shown above, the boxes will be refused and sent back to the vendor at no cost to the government. Company names must not appear anywhere on the product or wrapper. PALLETIZING INSTRUCTIONS: Boxes will be stabilized with cardboard corner braces on all four corners from top of skid to top layer of boxes. Corner braces will be strong enough to support pallets being stacked at least 2 pallets high, without buckling, toppling or crushing. Boxes will be stacked no higher than 72 in. on the skid. Boxes will weigh no more than 45 pounds. The loads will not buckle or shift under pressure. The contractor will shrink wrap all boxes tight enough onto the skid to prevent boxes from shifting or falling off skid during transport. Contractor to face the boxes on the skid to show the label of the box and what is inside the box. Contractor to put at least one (1) label outside of the shrink wrap to identify product inside of boxes. Partial boxes will be labeled as such and placed on the top of the skid. Multiple items shall not be placed on the same pallet, the requirement shall be only one PPI specific item per pallet. A packing list must accompany each shipment. The packing list will specify the following: Component, Quantity per Carton, Total Carton Count, Total Quantity. A standard Bill of Lading will not be substituted for a packing list. Pallets will be refused if they do not comply with these instructions or if they are double-stacked.
