- The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) has developed the enclosed solicitation, (RFQ) VA-69D-10-RQ-0356. The purpose of this solicitation is for the contractor to provide the use of landfill facilities to be furnished by the contractor for the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) Hines at 5000 S5th Ave, Hines, IL 60141 in accordance with the statement of work and the specifications, terms, and conditions listed within this Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is a Firm Fixed Price contract, unrestricted and under NACIS 562212, size standard $12.5 Million. Anticipated period of performance is August 1, 2010 through July 31, 2011 with four (4) one-year option renewal periods, at the Government's discretion. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about May 25, 2010. Electronic solicitation may be obtained FREE at the Federal Business Opportunities website; www.fedbizopps.gov, select "Find Business Opportunities" and then enter the solicitation number. Any amendments to this solicitation will also be available at this address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
