- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FT3Z900120A001 ; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-41 13 May 10, Defense DCN 20100519, and AFAC 2010-0402 20100402. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339943. The business size standard is 500 Employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 3611. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3953. THIS IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for a Laser Wire Marking Device meeting the following criteria: CLIN 0001: (1) One Laser Wire Marking machine to mark, measure, and cut aircraft wiring. Provides marking, measuring and cutting capabilities for wires from 26 AWG up to 6 AWG. The laser wire marking systems must meet Mil Spec W-5088 (AS50881), M-81531 and are in compliance with SAE AS5649 Wire & Cable marking process, UV laser and conforms to SAE5607 Legibility of Print on Aerospace Wire & Cable, IAW technical order TO 1-1A-14. If the unit is PC operated a computer and operating software and stand alone computer must be provided. Training for unit must be provided by the vendor. Installation of laser marker must be provided. Unit Maintenance training must be offered. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
