NO award will be made as a result of this announcement. It is a request for industry comment on a draft solicitation for Flight Information Publications. 1. The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) is issuing this draft Request for Proposal for comment only. No proposal is requested. A future announcement will be issued for the official Request for Proposal. The purpose of this announcement is to obtain industry feedback on ways to streamline or improve the final request for proposal for the finishing, printing and distribution of the Flight Information Publications (FLIPs) products. The period of performance will be for a one-year base period and four (4) option years. The applicable NAICS code is 323117 and the size standard is 500. These products are maintained, printed and distributed on a 28 day cycle and multiples thereof. The finished products are charts and bound books, which will be distributed worldwide. The requirements contain four lots. These lots consist of photo-servicing, printing and distribution of various size fold-out charts, 5 5/16" x 8 1/4" bound books containing primarily graphic data and various size books containing primarily text data. Please review the draft plus all applicable attachments and provide any concerns/comments 2. General Requirements: The following are the general requirements as known today, but subject to further refinement or change. Interested parties should provide a phone number and point of contact with any comments so that, if required, a follow-up can be made by the contracting officer. The draft Request for Proposal is attached with a large number of attachments that provide additional information for your review. 3. Information Submission: If you are interested and/or have suggestions regarding the draft Request for Proposal, please respond to the individual identified in this announcement no later than 10 June 2010. 4.
