Description
NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an 8(a) Muliple AwardIndefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for Minor General Construction Services.The order of magnitude for the procurement of the sample Task Order is $100,000.00 to$250,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendardays after notice to proceed. The guaranteed minimum amount of work which may berequired is $5,000.00.The maximum amount of work is $49,000,000.00 for the five (5)year period of performance.This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1.The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 236220 and $33.5Million, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about Aug. 02, 2010 with an anticipatedoffer closing date of on or about Sept. 01, 2010The firm date for receipt of bids or proposals will be stated in the RFP. Drawings willbe available from a source to be provided at the time the solicitation is released.All responsible 8(a)sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by theagency.(a) An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concernsfrom offerors, potential offerors, and contractors during the preaward and postawardphases of this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strictconfidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman is not todiminish the authority of the contracting officer, the Source Evaluation Board, or theselection official. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged andexpected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.(b) An organized site visit has been scheduled for - a date and time to be stipulated with the release of the RFP(c)Participants will meet at-a location to be stipulated within the solicitation(End of Provision)All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing.
