- J&A Solicitation Number: Notice Type: NFU00000145 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation SYNOPSIS: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NFU00000145 and is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-41. The Government anticipates awarding one firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation. The following factors will be used to evaluate quotes and are listed in order of importance: (1) Technical Acceptability (2) Price Technical Acceptability Provide documentation that shows the products offered are the brand name and part numbers required. The brand name justification is attached as required by FAR 5.102(a)(6) and FAR 13.106-1(b). This acquisition is for Remington Arms parts as follows: 300ea F18646 ejector rivet, front, 12ga 300ea F18647 ejector rivet, rear, 12-20ga LW 100ea F99539 ejector 12ga RH 50ea F102203 trigger plate assembly, 12ga police 200ea F102310 shell latch, left, 12ga 200ea F102314 shell latch, right, 12ga 100ea F102324 F/E tube assembly, 12ga 200ea F113066 stock assembly SF IV-S black 200ea F112752 police SF-S recoil pad-SIMS 400ea F202368 recoil R3 pad SCR-police (screw) 100ea 24595 870 XBL 12/14 mod WC GR tritium Price The total price will be a determining factor after determination is made as to compliance to technical acceptability. The award will be issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Vendors must include warranty terms and delivery times with their quote. Delivery to: DHS ICE National Firearms and Tactical Training Unit (NFTTU) Attn: David Davis, 320 E. Chestnut Avenue, Altoona, Pa 16601 The Government desires delivery of all parts 60 days ARO, but no later than 90 days ARO, and anticipates awarding a purchase order for these items on or about late May, 2010. Inspection and Acceptance shall be at destination (supplies shall be delivered to the destination at the expense of the contractor). Faxed and e-mailed quotes will be accepted. Faxed quotes may be sent to the attention of Greg Horwitz at 214-905-5568 and e-mailed quotes may be sent to greg.horwitz@dhs.gov. Inquiries regarding this RFQ must be made in writing no later than May 27, 2010 to be considered. Contractors are responsible for verifying receipt of their quotes. All responsible sources interested in responding to this RFQ must respond no later than 3:00 PM Central Standard Time on May 28, 2010. FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998). This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
