Description
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Removal and reinstallation of scissor lift in chiller/boiler areaway. Removal of piping, power and controls to two chillers. Removal of two nominal 300 ton chillers. Modification of existing reinforced concrete equipment pads. Installation of two new water cooled, centrifugal chillers (nominal 450 ton compressors producing 280 tons of cooling capacity utilizing R-123 refrigerant). Installation of new piping, insulation and valves. Installation of new power conduit, wiring and disconnect switches. Installation of new controls conduit, wiring and programming to tie into the existing building automation system. Demolition and installation of new chilled water chemical feed system. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. ESTIMATE PRICE RANGE: Between $350,000 and $700,000.NAICS: 238220 To be considered for award of this project the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base (website www.ccr.gov). This Notice is for information purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
