- The proposed contract action is for medical/dental equipment, for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, due to the proprietary capabilities involved. The vendor is Crafford Precision Products Co., doing business as (dba) Crafford Laser Star Technologies, 1 Industrial Court, Riverside RI 02915-5218. The equipment is for a Laserstar workstation/welder model G2/7000. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no written solicitation. The determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. This request is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339114, and the size standard is 500 people. This is for a one time purchase. There is no small business set aside and there are no options on the proposed contract.
