- Description
- The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System has a requirement for the provision of medical grade liquid bulk oxygen to the VA Medical Center located in Biloxi MS. The anticipated contract period is a base period commencing on June 1, 2010, with four one-year option periods. The contractor will be required to provide a primary storage tank of approximately 172,000 CF capacity and a backup tank of approximately 57,500 CF. The contractor will be required to provide a local alarm and annunciating panel at the tank. The contractor will be required to connect the contractor-owned equipment to the government supplied electrical and mechanical connections at the tank location. The Government will provide a suitable mounting pad for the contractor owned tank. The contractor will be required to make periodic deliveries of medical grade liquid bulk oxygen over the life of the contract. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 325120, Industrial Gas Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1000 employees. The applicable NAICS code is one where the Small Business Administration (SBA) has waived the non-manufacturer rule. This procurement will be conducted as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. Offers will be accepted only from Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns that appear in the Vet Biz Registry.
