- WANTED TO LEASE Seeking Expressions of interest OFFICE SPACE TO THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT The United States Government desires to lease, seeking expressions of interest, for approximately 6,220 rentable square feet of Office space within the city limits of Sterling, Illinois. We are seeking office space in a professional environment. Space offered must be within two blocks of local amenities, banks, restaurants, and like facilities. Space shall not be twice as long as it is wide. The space must yield a minimum of 5,151 and a maximum of 5,409 occupiable square feet for the agency’s personnel and equipment. The space must be fully serviced and altered to meet the Federal Government's standards for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The space must be contiguous, on one floor. In addition, parking must be available to accommodate employees and public; approximately 22 spaces. Occupancy is desired by the fourth quarter 2011, for a lease term of fifteen (15) years total, ten (10) years firm. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building's ownership.
