- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the following: Six months of bridge effort until the competitive requirement is awarded. Specifically, this bridge effort is for the continuation of services for the personnel, materials/products, and services required to assist in the program management, installation, integration, engineering, and administration of specific Information Technology (IT) systems in support of the greater physical security efforts of TSA. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award contract to SIM-G Technologies LLC, 1100 15th Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington DC, 20005. This contract will address the requirements of the Physical Security Division of the Office of Security within the Office of Law Enforcement/Federal Air Marshal Service (OLE/FAMS). The proposed contract action is for a service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the above designated source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
