- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), South Atlantic Area, has a requirement to repair and recoat a roof at USDA ARS, Dawson, GA. This roof is approximately 14,400 square foot. The existing roof is a United Coatings Unisil 700 coating system class A-UI790. A thermographic report will be provided in the solicitation package. This project includes but may not be limited to scarify the existing roof, cut out compromised areas, replace removed foam, spray foam over entire roof surface, inspect and repair or replace all cants, curbs, pipes, projections and roof edge coping. The NAICS code for this project is 238160 with a small business size standard of $14 million. This procurement is 100% set aside for hub zone small businesses. Magnitude of the project is $25,000 - $100,000. The solicitation number is RFQ-015-4384-10. The solicitation which will include information on a site visit will be available on this Federal Business Opportunities website on or about June 8, 2010. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications or drawings will be available.
