- Synopsis The following project FA4659-10-R-0002 is being advertised as a synopsis for Cavalier Air Force Station Fire Protection/Emergency Services. The resultant contract is to provide Fire Protection/emergency Services, Rescue Operations, and Emergency Management Services for Cavalier AFS on a 24-hour basis except as otherwise indicated by the Performance Work Statement. This acquisition will be done in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items). The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price contract using Performance Price Trade-off Procedures. The basic period will be from 1 Oct 10 Through 30 Sep 11 with the government's option to extend four subsequent years. The current applicable NAICS code is 561990. The small business size standard is $7 Million. This acquisition will be restricted for HUBZone small business concerns. Solicitation FA4659-10-R-0002 will be issued on or about 4 Jun 10, and the anticipated response date is 6 Jul 10. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov). No paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package.
