- RECOVERY ACT PROJECT: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The VA Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida is soliciting bids from qualified SDVOSB's for Recovery Act project 573-09-602, to 'RENOVATE KITCHEN B-1 (FCA-D)'. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to 'RENOVATE KITCHEN B-1 (FCA-D)' located at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida.'. Work includes general construction; alterations; architectural, mechanical, and electrical work; and necessary removal and replacement of existing interior finishes and structures needed to renovate the existing kitchen, and certain other items as required by the specifications and drawings. WORK TO BE PEFORMED AT THE VA MEDICAL CENTER, GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA. The NAICS code is 236220/size standard is $33.5 million. Cost range is $100,000-$250,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. BIDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES in accordance with Public Law 109-461. The solicitation will issue on or about 4/5/10. A ONE-TIME organized site visit (not mandatory) will be held: 04/13/10 at 11:00am. LOCATION: Engineering Conference Room EB106-1, Basement VA MEDICAL CENTER, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, Florida, 32608. Questions will not be answered at the site visit. All questions must be received in writing for formal response to all bidders. Bid Opening: 05/11/2010 AT 3:00PM in Room B18, Bldg. 19 at the VA MEDICAL CENTER, 619 S.
