- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. 1 SOCONS is seeking sources for a potential 100% HUBZONE set-aside for a competitive procurement to contractors under the Small Business Administration. The NAICS is 237130 with a size standard of $33.5M. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to obtain information on qualified and experienced contractors interested in providing proposals that exhibit the electrical construction knowledge needed to compete in the following projects: FTEV 07-1010-Repair Electrical Distribution Phase 1 & 2 FTEV 07-1011-Repair Electrical Distribution Phase 3 & 4 The construction cost range for each project is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This request for information (RFI) notice is issued for planning purposes. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses to this notice will assist the Government in encouraging maximum participation of interested HUBZone company's so as to identify potential sources and determine if the Government can verify that two (2) or more contractors meet this requirement in determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, or pay for any proposal preparation costs. Request interested firms respond to this notice and provide the following: (a) Firm's INFORMATION [name, address, phone number, and title of a person to contact, DUN and Bradstreet number, and business size CAGE code]; (b) CAPABILITY STATEMENT [Description of each related project completed by your company as a prime Contractor or as a significant subcontractor within the past three (3) years, including as much of the following information as possible]: (1) A brief description of the technical requirements of that project; (2) The specific information on your company's previous experience in providing the type of services required by this announcement; and, (3) The name, address, point of contact and phone number of customer Interested sources that believe they possess the capabilities necessary to undertake this project should submit an electronic copy of their capability statement, addressing the criteria identified above. Any proprietary information should be so marked. Written capability statements shall clearly and unambiguously demonstrate ability to perform work of the nature identified in this notice. Responses are due no later than 3:00 p.m (CST) on June 3, 2010.
