- Modification to- The Government intends to procure 8 each MHE battery, Exide M3401217013DNYWA, and each battery shall be a shipboard approved battery that is in accordance with Technical Memorandum No. PHST-35-00B, table 3-2 (QPL for Shipboard Electric Powered Forklift batteries). The battery type is 24V (EE) 4K Reach and Tier is the only approve replacement battery in accordance with Table 3.2. These batteries are designed to fit the Raymond forklift, which is a shipboard certified electric forklift, Model #R45TN. This requirement shall be procured in accordance with Simplified Acquisition procedures. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov. The RFQ should be posted on or before 27 May 2010.
