- Description
- The VAMC Spokane, WA intends to award a sole source contract to Weaver and Associates, PO Box 99903, Tacoma, WA 98499, to provide services to install LIKO Ceiling Patient Lifting Systems for the Spokane VAMC, 4815 N Assembly St., Spokane, WA 99205. The NAICS code for the procurement is 238290 'Machinery and equipment, large-scale, installation' with a size standard of $14.0 Million. The Government believes that Weaver and Associates is the only vendor that is authorized to install this equipment without voiding the manufactures warranty. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, 38 U.S.C. 8153 and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes however; any firm that believes that it can install this equipment without voiding the manufactures warranty may give written notification to the Contracting Officer, VAMC Spokane, WA. 4815 N Assembly St, Spokane, WA., no later than 2:00 PM PDT, May 24, 2010. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to the above listed address by mail, Attn: Jackie Merriman, Contracting Officer, by e-mail to jackie.merriman@va.gov or faxed to (509) 434-7101. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VA will proceed with the sole source award to Weaver and Associates.
