- Crater Lake National ParkPowered Tracked Wheelbarrows & Haulers This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of tracked powered wheelbarrows and carriers, commercial items, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40 of April 22, 2010. Quotations are being requested via this notice only. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation/Request for Quotations (RFQ) number is Q9320102033. The acquisition is reserved exclusively for small business concerns. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System Code is 423810 and the size standard is 100 employees or less. Both Items offered must meet the following minimum salient characteristics: Durable Rubber Track; Hydraulic actuated front dumping bucket; Gas or Diesel engine; Sturdy tub or bed frame able to carry loose very large rock, soil, concrete and/or asphalt for trail construction or maintenance projects. Ability to walk behind rubber tracked hauler must be able to travel over uneven and rough terrain (wet, muddy, loose sanding/gravel/dirt soil and rocks/wood structures) with minimal impact to these ground surfaces. Include manufacturer's product sheets with your offer. Delivery shall be FOB-Destination to Crater Lake National Park, Maintenance Yard, Park Headquarters, 4 miles north of Hwy 62. Deliveries may be made between 8:00am- 4:00pm, Monday-Friday. Contract Line Item One is for the acquisition of two tracked, powered wheelbarrows; Canycom SC45 or equivalent; Overall width, max 31 inches; Payload capacity, min 1,000 lbs; minimum 6 HP; Contract Line item Two is for the acquisition of two tracked, powered hauler/carriers; Canycon SC75 or equivalent. The tracks shall have a length of ground contact less than 40" and width less than 30"; overall width less than 36 ";payload capacity of at least 1,600 lbs; minimum 15 HP; hydrostatic transmission. Interested parties shall submit a quotation based on a unit price. The Government reserves the right to adjust the total units ordered based on availability of funding at the time of award and to make multiple awards. A breakdown of quantity discounts shall be provided with the quotation, if applicable. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offer Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (to be completed and provided with quotation); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (applicable are: (5)(i)-52.219-6; (16)-52.222-26; (17)-52.222-35; (18)-52.222-36; (19)-52.222-37; (21)-52.225-1; and (29)-52.232-33.
