- HPLC SPECS Sole source purchase of High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) system. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal Plant Health Inspection Services, Veterinary Services Facility in Ames, IA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Hitachi High Technologies America, Inc., for a High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) system. The rationale for this intention to Sole Source can be found in FAR 6.302-1 ( Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ) High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) system, being purchased includes the following : • HTA Pump wI Low Press4I'e Gradient, Degasser, and UI Pad • Autosampler with UI Pad • Column Oven with UI Pad • UV Detector with UI Pad • Flourescence Detector with UI Pad • /diode Array Detector • EZChrome Elite TM Workstation Software for Hitachi HPLC Systems • System Controller • Installation & basic Training • 2-Year Service Contract The total estimated dollar amount on this award is $56,257.40 This new HPLC system and its components must coordinate operations with two existing HPLC systems and their components and be operable by EZChrom Elite software. Consurnables and maintenance parts must be interchangeable among all the HPLC systems. Methods, sequences and data must be compatible among all the HPLC systems. This equipment is to be used for ISO 17025 accredited tests which specifically name Hitachi High Technologies HPLC systems, software and components in the associated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Interested sources that are capable of providing the equivalent supply listed above are encouraged to submit statements of capability to the contracting office. Small Business concerns are encouraged to participate. This is not a request for competitive proposals Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to possibly conduct a competitive procurement in the future. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. Please provide Tax I.D. Number, Duns Number, point of contact information, past performance and references regarding your ability to provide this item and or service along with your Statement of Capability. The Government will not award a contract based on the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary.
