- Description
- Repair and replace structural and cosmetic features of the Maggie L. Walker Historic Site Complex. Exterior work including brick, tile, and mortar repairs, as well as chimney, roofing, window, siding, and porch repairs. Interior work including linoleum replacement, wood floor refinishing, wainscot repair, mold removal, and water damage repair. Paint exterior of structure after making repairs and properly preparing surfaces including foundation walls, steps, porches, doors, thresholds, jambs, trim, windows, gutters and siding. Rehabilitate historic windows and doors. All windows and doors as noted on the project drawings shall be repaired, reglazed, and/or repainted. Contractor shall conserve the historic fabric of each unit.
